We’re thrilled to welcome Natasha Long to the Fusion Pharma team as a Senior Regulatory Consultant!
Like many in the industry, Natasha didn’t set out to work in Regulatory Affairs, but it turned out to be the perfect fit. With a diverse background in the field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Her can-do attitude, expertise, and commitment to supporting others make her an excellent addition to our team, and she’s already been making an impact since joining us in January.

Like many, I stumbled into a career in Regulatory Affairs. Fresh out of University, I was offered two roles: one in a laboratory and another in regulatory for a company developing medicinal cannabis. I chose the regulatory path, and I’m so glad I did.
Regulatory Affairs has been a career that let me discover my strengths and shape roles to fit them. I’ve stretched, grown, and pushed myself in directions that weren’t initially comfortable but these have become some of my key talents. I’ve worked in product innovation and pipeline, and Phase 1 Clinical Trials, which are incredibly fascinating.
I’ve also taken on company end-to-end compliance and name change projects, complex labelling updates and global CMC improvement projects, which revealed my passion for project management, spreadsheets and organised data. Working in regulatory allowed me to run my own Ltd company for a number of years, offering flexibility, especially after the unexpected arrival of twins, which led to a couple of years’ career break, and an amazing development of my negotiation and multi-tasking skills…. Now, regulatory offers opportunities for progression, constant learning, and fulfills my need to help others.
I thrive on being the helpful, approachable expert, with a can do attitude that people know they can rely on. My new role in consultancy at Fusion Pharma fits that bill for me perfectly and I’m excited to be getting stuck in and start working with the team, our clients and our commitment to supporting our community of followers!
